PLEDGING

PLEDGING
There is no better return on an investment as giving to the local church. Please see the many options below on how to give to the mission, vision, and future of Collierville UMC. We have ways for you to set up automated giving, pledge giving for specific campaigns, as well as one time and gift giving.
Dear Church Family,
As your Finance Chair, I want to thank you for your amazing generosity and commitment, including the 90 Day Challenge last summer. It allowed us to stabilize our financial position in 2024. This is a truly remarkable achievement and another sign of God’s continued work in our church through each of you!
Summer is quickly approaching, and we are going to ask for your support of the 2025 Summer Challenge once again. We have 2 specific goals:
- Maintain our cash flow positive status through your continued generosity.
- Fund unexpected expenses with facility maintenance due to HVAC, roof, and gutter issues.
The team has explored a number of options to address these unexpected maintenance issues within our current means and while we can absorb some, it became evident we would need to ask the congregation for additional support from the 2025 Summer Challenge.
You will no doubt recognize we are following a simple, but effective plan to our financial security.
- 2023 was a year to survive the changes.
- 2024-25 were the years to provide stabilization for future growth.
- 2026 is the year to prayerfully, faithfully plan for our church to thrive.
The Pastors and staff have plans to continue reducing expenses, growing membership, generating more rental income, improving access to grants, while being great stewards of your faithful generosity. We are actively assessing every aspect of our financial position, so we can return more to the ministries and missions we know God has placed before us.
Asking for contributions has never been my talent, so I simply ask for each of you to pray for our church and determine if you can increase your support during this challenge. June 8, 2025, in both services, you will be invited to pray for our ministries and missions. You may leave your pledge card at the altar or pledge online, www.colliervilleumc.org/pledge.
God works in our congregation daily and I want to share we have church members willing to jumpstart our efforts with a $10,000 donation! Generosity is at the heart and soul of our church! The commitment from our Pastors, staff, and leadership team is to use the power of God and our God given talents to flourish for the rest of 2025 and through 2026.
I am humbly, prayerfully requesting your consideration of our request. My cell is 901-634-3546 if anyone wants to discuss.
Blessings to all!
