God has blessed each one of us with different gifts and talents, but it is up to us to develop and use those gifts in His name. The purpose of the Music + Worship Arts Ministry at Collierville UMC is to help anyone explore, develop, and use their talents to lead others in worship. Whether through music, drama, dance, or visual art, there is a place for you.

288 Youth Choir (6th-12th Grade)
This ministry gives youth the opportunity to continue to explore, develop, and share their musical gifts with others. This group leads worship periodically in all 3 of our worship services throughout the year. 288 takes an annual Music & Missions Tour every summer, where we share our witness with others through music.
Sundays from 6pm-7pm in Room 200 (Poplar Campus)

“They were all under the direction of their father for the music in the house of the Lord with cymbals, harps, and lyres for the service of the house of God. Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman were under the order of the king. They and their kindred, who were trained in singing to the Lord, all of whom were skillful, numbered 288.” – 1 Chronicles 25:6-7

No audition is necessary, but a basic understanding of music is very helpful. Childcare is available upon request.

This team leads worship every Sunday morning as well as other special events throughout the year. The group consists of some variation of guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, piano, auxiliary percussion and various solo instruments. If interested in auditioning, fill out this form.
