Football Tailgate Party - Saturday, September 11
Our next dinner will be an indoor tailgate on Saturday, September 11. Wear your school colors and bring your favorite tailgate side dish or dessert. We’ll enjoy burgers and hot dogs off the grill, play games outdoors, then watch the big game inside. WEEKLY AND MONTHLY EVENTS
Trivia at Booya's on Tuesday Nights
Meet at Booya's every week at 6:00 for dinner, then stick around for Trivia at 7:00. Booya's is located at 954 W Poplar Ave in Collierville. Trivia subjects cover everything from history to movies to sports. Join us whenever you can!
Sunday School Classes
The 20's/30's class is for singles, students, graduates and professionals. We meet in room 106. Everyone is invited to attend and new church-goers and visitors are especially welcomed. Young married couples and those with young children may also visit the Journey class which welcomes young adults.
Pick-up Basketball on Mon & Thurs Nights
Every Monday and Thursday, join us in the church gym for pick-up basketball from 7:45 to 9:00 PM. Open to men and women ages 18 and older.
Monthly Dinners
Every month, a different young adult or church family hosts the young adult dinner. Each dinner is a potluck, so everyone brings their favorite dishes and the church provides the main meal.
WHO WE ARE
"Young Adults" refers to women and men, ages 18 - 35. Collierville UMC is dedicated to serving and cultivating this age group while being mindful of the many life stages located in this 18 year span. Young Adult Ministries offers opportunities for young adults to grow in their faith through four spiritual disciplines: Fellowship, Study, Worship, and Service. Join us and discover a loving and welcoming family, committed to the joyful work of God's kingdom.
