Weekly and Monthly Events
Sunday School Classes - We offer two classes for Young Adults. The 20's/30's class is for singles, students, graduates and professionals. This class meets in Room 101A in the Young Adult suite (located near the Poplar sanctuary). Everyone is invited to attend and new church-goers and visitors are especially welcomed. The Covenant Class consists of young married couples and those with young children. This class meets in Room 101B in the Young Adult suite and covers subjects ranging from marriage to relationships and parenting.
Trivia at Booya's on Tuesdays - Join us every Tuesday night at Booya's Burrito Beach for live team trivia. We sit at the first table you see as you walk in the door. Meet for dinner at 6:30 p.m. then stick around for Trivia at 7:00. Subjects include history, science, movies, TV, music and so much more. Trivia ends around 9:00.
Monthly Dinners - Every month, a different young adult or church family hosts the young adult dinner. Each dinner is a potluck, so everyone brings their favorite dishes and the church provides the main meal. Check the Interpreter newsletter to see info about this month's dinner.
Parents Night Out - Every 3rd Thursday, Young Parents are treated to a night out! Arrive at the Common Cup at 6:45 p.m. to meet your dinner group before heading out to a local restaurant. Childcare is provided til 9 p.m. Call 853-8383 with your RSVP.
Who We Are
The term "Young Adults" refers to women and men, ages 18-35. Collierville UMC is dedicated to serving and cultivating this age group while being mindful of the many life stages experienced by Young Adults. We offer opportunities for young adults to grow in their faith through four spiritual disciplines: Fellowship, Study, Worship, and Service. Join us and discover a loving and welcoming family that is committed to the joyful work of God's kingdom.
