Adult Discipleship Classes

All Adult Discipleship Classes meet from 6:30 – 7:30 PM.

Some classes are twelve weeks long and other classes will last only six weeks.

The second six week session is March 3 – April 14.

DivorceCare Small Group with Lisa Schlessinger & Julie Parker 

(Room 103 - Ministry Center)

This is a 13 week session.

DivorceCare helps people who are separated or divorced face challenges and to move forward in rebuilding their lives. Each week includes a video seminar with discussion on that week’s topic in a safe supportive group setting. Questions Every Christian Should Ask with Kristofer Roof
(Room 110 - Ministry Center)

This class meets during the second six week session, March 3 – April 14

If God is all-knowing, all-loving, and all-powerful, then why does Evil still exist? Can humans have free will if God has knowledge of future events? What exactly is the Trinity? Does God exist outside of Time? We will ask and answer these questions and more using Scripture, tradition, reason, and experience. Weekly articles will be provided to read and discuss. Join other members of the congregation to review and pray over our church’s prayer list as well as other praises and concerns. Everyone is welcome. Dream Releasers with Dr. Harry Durbin

This class meets during the second six week session, March 3 – April 14.

The Dream Releasers by Wayne Cordeiro explores how to help others realize their dreams while achieving your own. Come to discover your dream of what you can be for God. Our unrealized potential can have the power to change the world, just as Jesus unlocked the greatest treasures in the hearts of the Twelve. Participants may want a copy of The Dream Releasers. Knitting for Missions
(Missions Center)

This is a 12 week session

Knit items to supoort ongoing mission projects within the life of the church. Speakers will be hosted to share about ongoing knitting ministries. Words of Worship with Brittney Goodrich

(Room 101C - Ministry Center)

This class meets during the second six week session, March 3 – April 14.

When you think of worship, the first thing that comes to your mind is music, right? In scripture worship is used in action, meditation, prayer, and celebration. Worship is not just a weekly event, but a daily offering. We all know that, but this workshop will dive into the words that we sing and pray. Simply enough, we are going to explore what worship words mean in scripture and how we can get closer to the Lord through a better understanding of worship.
