Worship Services
God is truly in our midst. Worship at Collierville United Methodist is expressed through music, faith witness, confession and a message of truth that glorifies God and brings salvation to His people. We offer four worship services each Sunday, unless otherwise noted.
Traditional Service at the Square Sanctuary - 8:30 a.m.
Traditional Service at the Sanctuary on the Square (located at 104 Rowlett Street) welcomes all to join the choir in praise and to dive into the Scriptures.
Mosaic Service at the Poplar Sanctuary - 8:30 a.m.
Blended service (both traditional and contemporary elements) that is welcoming to all ages centered in The Word. Mosaic is ancient and future in the now!
Traditional Service at the Poplar Sanctuary - 10:45 a.m.
Traditional Service at the Poplar Sanctuary (located at 454 West Poplar Avenue) is an invitation to a classic United Methodist worship style.
Contemporary Vineyard Service - 10:45 a.m.
Vineyard Contemporary Service meets at Coats Hall (Poplar location) and is a celebration of freedom to worship in our own unique ways. It is an enthusiastic and informal service and we invite you to come as you are. The Vineyard page.
ONE Services in 2011
Please note that Sunday, May 27, 2012 is a ONE Service, which meets at 10 a.m. at the Poplar location. No other services will be held that day.
Parking
Our church is happy to provide ample parking to members and
visitors. There are designated spots for handicap and seniors on Sunday
mornings and if you would be so kind, please not to park in front of the
designated spots for the apartment complex next door.
Sunday School
Please join us every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. at the Poplar location for Sunday School. We offer Sunday School classes for Adults, Children, Couples and Singles, Senior Adults, Special Needs and Youth. For more information visit the Sunday School Page.
Children's Church
Children’s Church is held in Rooms 32-34 during all worship services for potty-trained children who are age 3 through first grade. (Please note that Children’s Church is not offered on “ONE Service” Sundays and Sundays when Communion is served.) Visit the Children's Page. for more information on what we offer to our little ones.
Childcare
The church nursery is available during worship services, Sunday School, and during weekday meetings and Bible studies. Please remember that children who are ill may not be placed in the nursery, in consideration of the other children there. From Interstate 240
Take the Nonconnah/ Bill Morris Parkway exit. Proceed
East to the Byhalia Road exit. Turn left (north) and proceed to the
second red light at Poplar Ave. Turn right (east) on Poplar Ave. Once
you pass the Wal-Mart, Collierville UMC will be visible on the north
(left) side of Poplar Ave.
From Interstate 40
Take the Collierville-Arlington exit (Exit 26). Proceed
south down Collierville Arlington Road for approximately 15 miles.
Collierville Arlington Road 'T's into Poplar Ave. (Highway 57). Turn
west (right) and proceed through 2 traffic lights. Collierville UMC is
visible on the north (right) side of Poplar Ave.
From Highway 72
(Mississippi)
Take the Highway 72 north until reaching Poplar Ave.
Turn right (east) and proceed through 1 traffic light. Collierville UMC
is visible on the north (left) side of Poplar Ave.
