First Wednesday Soup/Salad Ministry

We meet at 9:30 a.m. in the kitchen to make soup or salad for the sick and home bound. We always need help cooking or baking desserts. Deliverers are also needed. Please call Melanie Duncan at (901) 853-8383 to learn more.

SAM Luncheon

We gather at 11:30 a.m. on the 2nd Thursday of the month in the Servery. There is always a fun program or speaker on the agenda. Check the current SAM newsletter for menu and cost. To make a reservation, please contact Melanie Duncan at (901) 853-8383.

Monthly Outreach

At our luncheon each month we have a mission opportunity. This is a way for us to be of service both in our church and community. Please check the most current newsletter for this month's opportunity.

Day Trips

Once a month we get on the church bus and go somewhere fun and educational. It could be a museum, safari park, Lenten luncheon series, theatre, outdoor concert or a combination of these. We also have a meal out together when we go. Just check the most current newsletter for information.

Movie Monday

Once a month on a Monday we meet at the Collierville Malco. It depends on the month what Monday we go and what we see. Look at the above calendar for more information.

Wolf River Gang

The second Monday of the month we meet in the CUMC parking lot and leave at 5:00pm and go to the Wolf River Café for dinner. Dinner is on your own.

Our senior adults gather to sing on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 3 p.m. in Room 102. Contact Melanie Duncan,

Goals and Objectives

To recognize the importance of maintaining Christian fellowship & spiritual growth as we grow older. To keep our minds active and alert by participating in study, work and play. To be a friend to someone and ease their worries by showing a loving concern for one another. To reach out and be of service whenever and wherever needed in our church and in our community.

All are welcome!  We notice when you are not here.
