Women's Summer Bible Studies

Women’s Ministry is offering a variety of discussion-based, Christ-centered, small group studies for women this summer. Groups are limited in size, so sign up early. All meet weekly for one hour. Register by e-mailing donnatvickers@yahoo.com or call 457-7321 with your selection of study and location preference, and materials will be ordered for you. MORNINGS: 1. Living Free – Learning to Pray God’s Word by Beth Moore. Meets at 9:30 a.m. (Room TBD) Tuesdays, beginning June 5 for six weeks. Five daily home readings each week. Led by Carol Ingram. $10. 2. Tangled Lives of Sarah & Hagar – Redeeming Our Regrets by Elaine Getz. Meets at 9:30 a.m. (Room TBD) Wednesdays beginning June 6 for six weeks. One home reading each week. Led by Donna Vickers. $8. EVENINGS: How to Walk the Walk You Talk by Kay Arthur. Meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays beginning June 6 for six weeks. No homework. 1. Group 1 – Meets in Room 104. Led by Lisa Junkins. $8. 2. Group 2 – Meets at Barbara Mayo’s house. Led by Barbara. $8.

Campamento Espiritu

Campamento Espiritu is the first Lakeshore camp for children of Hispanic heritage. It is sponsored by the Memphis Annual Conference and the Eastern Conference of the Methodist Church in Mexico. This year's camp will be June 8-10 and already has 25 bilingual campers signed up. Additional camp counselors, as well as one Safe Sanctuary trained person for the bus ride home, are needed for the weekend.
