Children's Ministry

Welcome! Here at Collierville United Methodist Church, you will find a higher standard in children's Biblical learning. Our curriculum is exceptional in providing a fun, loving, entertaining and relevant environment where kids learn about God.

Sunday Mornings:

Due to new check-in procedures to relieve congestion, please have your Grades K, 1st and 2nd check-in in Room 15, and grades 3rd, 4th and 5th will check-in in Room 19 until January 8. 

We need helpers each week. Please attend a Safe Sanctuary training session as soon as possible so you can help in Sunday School. We appreciate your commitment to make each child in our program safe. Check the News & Announcements page for information on upcoming training.

Willowcreek's "Promiseland" is a proven curriculum that teaches and reinforces the simple Biblical principles on which the Christian existence is based... faith, the value of God's Word, prayer and the development of godly character traits. All lessons are age-appropriate and presented through hilarious skits, fascinating demonstrations, lively games and thoughtful discussions.

Preschool Sunday School
2 and 3 year olds (potty trained please): Room 12
Age 4 and Transition Kindergarten: Room 13

Children’s Church (age 3 by Oct. 1, 11 - grade 1)
Children’s Church is held in Rooms 32-34 during all worship services for potty-trained children who are age 3 through first grade. (Please note that Children’s Church is not offered on “One Service” Sundays and Sundays when Communion is served.)

Nursery (beginning at birth)

The church nursery is available during worship services, Sunday School, and during weekday meetings and Bible studies. Please remember that children who are ill may not be placed in the nursery, in consideration of the other children there. Wednesday Nights:
6:30-7:30 p.m. January 11 - April 11, 2012

WOW children's classes are for age 3 through 5th grade are held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The spring session runs through April 11, with no classes on February 22 and March 14. Children may register anytime.

» Preschool (Ages 3 - Junior K) – KIDZONE offers an exciting Bible-learning adventure on a preschool level! Games, crafts and silly activities reinforce each week’s Bible Story and help children use their natural enthusiasm to experience God’s Word! KIDZONE meets in Room 24.

» Grades K-5 – SOUL FOOD CAFÉ is an incredible, edible journey through God's Word! Weekly Bible lessons are reinforced by edible activities as we eat our way through the Bible! SOUL FOOD CAFÉ meets in Room 26/28 and the Spring Schedule is as follows:
